LPN Smoothie Recipes: Almond Berry Bliss

I make a lot of smoothies, but I have always just put the recipes up on my Instagram and Facebook. After a chat with one of my dear friends, she requested that I start putting them on my blog too. Who am I to deny such a request? Thanks to one of my nearest and dearest, I’ll start posting my recipes on my blog more often.

Many of my recipes (mixtures? combinations?) include greens – but sometimes they are in disguise. This one below is a great combo to help hide the greens from the wary boyfriends/husbands/kids or those new to clean eating.

I usually slam my ingredients in adhoc amounts in the blender, so excuse the lack of measurements.

Some rules I tend to stick with for certain ingredients:

  • Liquid Stevia – 4 – 7 drops
  • Almond Butter – 1 tbs
  • Bee Pollen – 2 tsp
  • Coconut water – 1/2 to 1 cup
  • Banana – 1/2 a banana
  • Noni Juice – 15 – 30 ml
  • Spices (cinnamon, cardamom, tumeric etc.) 1 – 2 tsp
  • Green Powders (Chlorella, Spirulina, Kelp, Wheatgrass etc.) – 1 – 3 tsp
