I make a lot of smoothies, but I have always just put the recipes up on my Instagram
. After a chat with one of my dear friends, she requested that I start putting them on my blog too. Who am I to deny such a request? Thanks to one of my nearest and dearest, I'll start posting my recipes on my blog more often.
Many of my recipes (mixtures? combinations?) include greens - but sometimes they are in disguise. This one below is a great combo to help hide the greens from the wary boyfriends/husbands/kids or those new to clean eating.
I usually slam my ingredients in adhoc amounts in the blender, so excuse the lack of measurements.
Some rules I tend to stick with for certain ingredients:
- Liquid Stevia - 4 - 7 drops
- Almond Butter - 1 tbs
- Bee Pollen - 2 tsp
- Coconut water - 1/2 to 1 cup
- Banana - 1/2 a banana
- Noni Juice - 15 - 30 ml
- Spices (cinnamon, cardamom, tumeric etc.) 1 - 2 tsp
- Green Powders (Chlorella, Spirulina, Kelp, Wheatgrass etc.) - 1 - 3 tsp
