The Water Bottle that Gives Back

I know I’m preaching to the choir when I talk about ditching single-use plastics when it comes to your coffee/tea/water etc. Why I’m raising the topic today, is because Ello has taken it a step further by committing to providing safe water to a person in need for an entire year with each of their special edition reusable mugs and water bottles.

Take, for example, the Aspen ceramic travel mug – I love it because it’s a ceramic mug that I can take on the go. There is no plastic or metallic taste (common with many travel mugs). The top is made of BPA free materials as well – and the one I’m holding, its sales go towards helping out people in need.

The eco-friendly alternatives are wonderful, high quality and non-toxic. I love their Thrive glass water bottle, which is 100% BPA/BPS-free as well as the Stainless Steel Travel Mug, which has a cork bottom and keeps my herbal tea HOT for up to 5 hours. Nice to have as we move into the colder months.

Ello is helping to provide clean water to those in need by funding the installation of water treatment systems in growing communities all over the world. They’ve partnered with H2OpenDoors, an organization that connects with local communities to install solar-powered purification systems, producing up to 40,000 litres of safe drinking water daily.

All of the products shown here go towards helping out H2OpenDoors and can be found on Ello’s website. All proceeds go directly towards funding the water filtration systems.
