High SPF Sunscreen for Face – Kibio Solaire 50+ SPF Review

I’m heading off for a week in the Norwegian mountains, and while the forecast is supposed to be a bit cloudy, I’m not leaving without my Kibio 50 SPF sunscreen. While my Kimberly Sayer SPF 30 would be fine if I was reapplying religiously, I want to keep my bag as light as possible and my hands off my face, while trudging through the great wilderness.

Kibio Solaire is a fabulous addition to your travel bag. Protecting your skin with a high SPF content, Kibio works against the effects of harmful UVA and UVB rays. I love knowing I’m warding-off premature signs of aging, dark spots and other not so pretty things with each application. My favorite part about Kibio’s suncare protection for the face is that it has a golden tint to it, which gives your skin a luminescent glow. This is the perfect product for the days you are sans makeup and heading down to the beach or up to the ski hill. (Side note, I must be turning into a Norwegian, I’m thinking about skiing and it’s only July).

Kibio Suncare Fact Lotion is a 100% mineral sunscreen, touting it’s main ingredient as flower water, and is also water-resistant. This natural lover loves that 99.2% of the total ingredients are of natural origin and 29.7% of them are sourced from organic farming practices. Keeping my trust, Kibio is made in France and is certified by ECOCERT Greenlife. The active ingredients are the titanium dioxide and the zinc oxide, instantly protecting your skin from the sun’s rays.

Additions such as Tamanu, coconut and vanilla make the product enjoyable to put on, as well as reapply, while the “anti-sand” cap make it great for use down by the sea. For 40 ml you can purchase Kibio’s Suncare Face Lotion for about $25 CAD.
